Cursor workflow

Use Monet to give Cursor Agent visual context from the actual site.

The Handoff Pack is the same pack you would give Claude Code, Codex, or another coding agent. This page covers how to place that pack into a Cursor workspace and keep the Cursor Agent task scoped.

01

Open the website repo in Cursor

Use Cursor to build or edit the site, then run it through a preview deployment or staging URL that Monet can capture.

02

Capture the URL in Monet

Crawl the preview in Monet and mark the exact UI problems with notes and acceptance criteria.

03

Place the Handoff Pack near the code

Export the pack and add it to the workspace or paste its summary into Cursor Agent with the repo open.

04

Ask Cursor Agent to work through the pack

Tell Cursor to make only the annotated changes, keep the existing design system, and cite completed annotations.

05

Preview and verify

Run or deploy Cursor's changes, then use Monet Verify to check the marked regions before calling the work done.

When this path is best

Use Cursor when the design fix will happen inside an active editor session. Keep the Handoff Pack visible beside the code, then let Monet verify the rendered preview after Cursor is done.
